Meet Our Executive Chef
Chef Bon found his passion for cooking in the pacific northwest at the age of 14, which eventually led him to graduate from Le Cordon Bleu in Portland Oregon at the top of his class.
After graduating, he worked for the Nike World Headquarters working with food from around the world and cooking for famous athletes and executives. He then went on to open an award-winning vegetarian restaurant in southern Oregon before moving to Colorado. In Colorado, he became the youngest Executive Chef for Phantom Canyon Brewery where he was nominated for “Best Chefs In America” and created award winning seasonal menus. The restaurant won multiple 1st place awards every year he was chef. For the next several years, he worked as a consultant for opening restaurants across the U.S.
In 2020, Chef Bon started at Hoste developing our In Home Chef experience. He created all the current menus for the chef experience using local Colorado ingredients and local purveyors as much as possible.
The Hoste Private Chef Experience
Your private chef will arrive ahead of time with all ingredients needed to prepare your menu selection. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy your own culinary show.
Watch and learn new recipes as your chef prepares a fine dining meal in the comfort of your vacation rental.
Are all Hoste properties eligible for an in home chef experience?
Our in home chef experience has a 5 person minimum. Only properties that can host at least 5 people qualify for this experience. Properties in remote locations are also ineligible.
Can you accommodate special dietary needs?
Simply let us know about any dietary restrictions and your private chef will work with you to personalize a menu that fits your needs.
Is there special pricing for kids?
Our menu is geared towards an adult palate. Kids 5 and under are free. For more information please contact our experiences team at experiences@iamhoste.com
Can I place my order online?
Once you book an eligible Hoste property, you will be texted a link that brings you to a version of this page that displays our menu and our booking form.
When would the chef arrive to prepare the meal?
The chef will arrive 1.5 hours before serving time. It is immensely helpful if all dishes, utensils and kitchen surfaces are clean and ready to be used when they arrive
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask if you decide to cancel your service for any reason, that you would please give us 72 hours notice. Please understand that each of our experiences are individually curated for your group. This can include planning, shopping for materials and travel time.
