We run the risk of sounding overly enthusiastic in its description, but be confident … there isn’t any hyperbole here. Perfect. This VRBO is perfect. Trails, open space and a reservoir are within walking distance. The Broadmoor is a few blocks away, the Zoo another mile only, and everywhere inside there is quality and thoughtful, inviting, original design.

The Space

Some homes are extensions of their natural environments. This 2 bedroom traveler’s VRBO cottage was made, designed, created with a true Colorado experience in mind. Upon arriving, guests will have plenty of outdoor parking—a premium in this mountain neighborhood. The home is attractive, and offers immediate and obvious outdoor entertaining options. There are two patio spaces, wrapping around the home. There is also a sitting and contemplation space on the hill above the house accessible by timbered stairs. Enter through the front door and you’ll be confronted immediately by an inviting, bright and open interior space seemingly larger than the exterior of the home would lead you to believe. The living/great-room offers handsome, quality, Colorado-inspired décor. There are exposed wood beams, an ornamental (non-functioning) natural stone fireplace, and plenty of large windows showing off the Colorado light tinted green-golden perhaps by the leaves of the native scrub-oak surrounding the property. The kitchen is at the rear of the great-room and is open, fully functional and ready for entertainment and your own culinary creations. The surfaces are all of quality—stainless steel, wood and tile. There is counter-top seating for up to 7 people here. Just beyond the kitchen is a full laundry for guest use. The home’s two bedrooms are bright and comfortably appointed with beds adorned with quality linens, professionally laundered. A single bathroom services both bedrooms and features a glass-brick design complementing a travertine-tile shower. The detail evident in the care and interior design of this little home are immediately apparent. Combined with the location and outdoor entertainment (adventure!) options here, we are confident that this is the perfect VRBO for a dream-like, perfect Colorado Springs stay.

Although multiple parks, trails, a zoo, a café and other outdoor attractions are located close to this property, we recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs. Also, we can provide you with specific bus routes to help you get around.
